WALLACIA Country Club has won the Division Four Pennant in the 2026 The Master Pennant competition, defeating Bingara Gorge 5.5-2.5 on Sunday morning at Lakeside Camden GC.

For Wallacia, Justin Woodward produced the standout individual result of the Final, cruising to a 7&6 win over Leigh Sienkiewicz. Christopher Holmes backed him up with a 3&1 win over Michael Brown, whilst Derek Duguid, George Simpson and Rob Lee all closed out their matches to give Wallacia a comprehensive team win. A halved match between Kevin Chester and Robert Bailey rounded out the scoring, but Wallacia was always in control.

Manager and club captain Bob Flood said “It was an emotional win. I’m thrilled for the boys, a lot of hard work and we were undefeated for the season.”

Both Wallacia and Bingara Gorge won promotion to Division Three for the 2027 Master Pennant season.
