COBY Carruthers (Jordan Springs / Concord GC) dominated the 2026 NextGEN NSW Cup on the 23-24th February, claiming a wire-to-wire victory.

Shooting rounds of 68, 70, and 67 (-11), Coby stormed to a 5-shot win over Jye Halls (NSW GC) and claimed his 8th World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) title in the past 18 months.

Due to the recent re-design of the golf course, Coby and Kayun Mudadana (NSW GC) now hold the new course record of 67, both recording that score in the third round.

Chayse Thorpe (Richmond / Concord GC) also made the 36-hole cut, shooting rounds of 81, 77, and 77 to finish in 26th spot.

Zoe Arcus (Cromer GC) also shot a Ladies course record of 71 on her way to winning the Women’s division (Silver Cup), whilst Savannah Webb (Stonecutters Ridge GC) shot rounds of 86/74/81 to finish in third place.

Round Five of the 2026 Men’s Major Pennant was held on the weekend, with the following results.
