AT this week’s Council meeting, Penrith Mayor Todd Carney praised local Socceroo, Patrick Beach with a Mayoral Minute.

“I’m delighted to share that one of our own is doing Penrith proud on the international sporting stage. From Glenmore Park to the world, Patrick Beach has quickly become a household name,” Mayor Carney said.

“On behalf of Penrith City Council, I congratulate Patrick on this incredible achievement.  

“We wish him the best of luck in the FIFA World Cup with the Socceroos advancing to the round of 32 against Egypt on Saturday morning; and for a long and bright future in the sport.
