Penrith Panthers Rugby League legend Royce Simmons has embarked on his 300km fund-raising walk from Gooloogong to Penrith.

Media were invited to attend the start at Gooloogong Country Club and conduct interviews before Royce, Brad Fittler and Andrew Farrar departed.

The walk will finish at Bluebet Stadium prior to kick-off of the Panthers-Cowboys NRL clash on Friday, May 27th.
