THE Jade Health Group officially celebrated the grand opening of its new, premier facility at Unit 2, 10 Coombes Drive, Penrith, on Saturday. The relocation marks a major milestone in the group’s mission to provide inclusive, specialised support for individuals of all abilities, combining physical wellness and education under one roof.
The centre was officially opened by The Honourable Mrs Karen McKeown MP, Member for Penrith, who participated in a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. During the event, Mrs McKeown spoke with Directors Steve and Monica Squassoni about the centre’s dedicated focus on mind, body, and soul, praising the integration of specialised educational support alongside traditional health services.
A True Hub for Mind, Body, and Soul
The custom-designed facility allows for a significant expansion of The Jade Health Group’s signature Fitness & FUNctional Movement programs. With increased floor space and specialised equipment, the centre now offers a wider variety of classes focused on building strength, coordination, and confidence in a supportive, enjoyable environment.
Beyond physical movement, the new site brings together a comprehensive suite of holistic health and community services, including:
• Specialised Education: Transitioning to a comprehensive support model for neurodiverse learners, offering in-house diagnostic testing, personalised tutoring, and expert IEP (Individualised Education Program) development and advocacy.
• Acupressure Treatments: Targeted acupressure therapy to support wellness and recovery.
• Hypnotherapy with Linda Campbell: Professional clinical hypnotherapy to support mental well-being and positive behavioural change.
• Men’s Mental Health Support: Dedicated, tailored initiatives providing a safe space and resources for local men.
