THEATHRE is thriving in the Penrith area. Many community theatres are presenting shows in May.
The Acting Factory Inc is presenting The Show Must Go On In Little Grimley opening in the Function Room of the Henry Sports Club.
This production features the two, funny short plays written by David Tristram: Last Panto in Little Grimley and Lockdown in Little Grimley The plays are about an amateur dramatic society – the trials and tribulations of a community theatre.
It’s crunch time in Little Grimley! With the amateur dramatic society on the brink of collapse and funds at an all-time low, just four determined members are left to save the day. Their bold solution? A pantomime!
What could possibly go wrong…? With no budget for costumes, questionable talent, and scripts printed completely wrong, Gordon, Margaret, Joyce and Bernard must pull out all the stops to get the show on its feet. Packed with classic comedy, theatrical chaos and more than a few of Bernard’s infamous banana skins, this laugh-out-loud production asks the big question: will the show go on, or will everything spectacularly fall apart?

Will their well-meaning efforts help save the day, or could their chaotic past leave the hospital in stitches for all the wrong reasons?
