TWIN Creeks GC has captured its second W. Gibson Pennant title in the past three years, defeating reigning champions Moore Park 2/1 on Sunday at Cabramatta GC.

Team captain Peter Anderson said, “Today, in a sudden death Final, we won 2 matches to one. It follows our 2023 premiership-winning performance, when we beat Stonecutters Ridge GC at Beverley Park.

“It was tough going (on Sunday), with all of the matches going right to the finish.”

David Leet Jnr and Matthew Spinks won 2/1, whilst Garry Gunstone and Mark Thayre won 3/2, securing the Pennant for Twin Creeks.

The Moore Park club endured a horror weekend, also falling 2/1 against Bondi in the T.L. Warren Pennant Final.
