IN addition to the junior riders we listed in last week’s editions of the Nepean News and Western News, several older local riders also featured in the placings across the two days of racing, in Round 2 of the 2024 Australian Superbike (ASBK) Championships at Sydney Motorsport Park (SMSP).

Jack Passfield (Bidwell) finished 1st outright in Superbike Masters, with 2 x 1st placings and 1 x 2nd place, whilst also finishing 1st in Period 6 Formula 1300 class, with the same finishing positions.

Aaron Bennett (Kingswood) finished 2nd in Period 5 Unlimited class of the Superbike Masters, finishing 3rd, 4th and 2nd respectively across his 3 races.

Jonathan Nahlous (Glenwood) finished 2nd in Australian Supersport, recording a 3rd then 2nd in his two races.

In Australian Superbikes, Cru Halliday (Camden) finished 2nd for the round, recording a 1st in Race 1 and a 3rd in Race 2.
