THIS winter, Penrith CBD Corporation, in partnership with Karen McKeown MP, Penrith City Council, Penrith RSL, The Creative Fringe, and Penrith Community Kitchen, is proud to launch #ProjectWarmth: Penrith Winter Appeal – a heartfelt community initiative aimed at keeping our most vulnerable residents warm and nourished during the colder months.
As temperatures drop, many members of our local community – including those experiencing homelessness and financial hardship – face a harsh and uncertain winter. We’re calling on the Penrith community to lend a hand, offer hope, and share warmth by supporting our winter appeal.
Penrith Mayor Todd Carney said a donation box was located in Penrith City Council’s Civic Centre foyer. “Council is pleased to support the Winter Appeal as a way to help the most vulnerable in our community,” Cr Carney said. “I encourage everyone who can to donate new items and help those doing it tough this winter.”
