GOLF NSW has named two teams to represent New South Wales at the 2026 Australian Junior Interstate Teams Matches and the Australian Interstate Teams Matches in the coming months.
The NSW Junior team will make the trip to Moonah Links on the Mornington Peninsula, one of Australia’s most acclaimed golf venues, where our state’s brightest young talent will go head-to-head with their peers from across the country from April 13-16.
The Boys’ squad features Ti Fox (Richmond / Concord GC), the 2025 NSW Junior Champion, whose season also included victory at the ACT Week of Golf.
The Girls’ squad is equally strong and includes former western Sydney resident Camilla Kim (The Australian GC), the 2025 NSW Junior Girls joint champion and one of the most decorated junior girls in the state.
The senior NSW Interstate Team, defending champions after their victory at last year’s matches, will face the challenge of Glenelg Golf Club, a classic Adelaide layout with a proud history of hosting elite competition, when competition gets underway from 5-7 May.
The Men’s side features Coby Carruthers (Jordan Springs / Concord GC), an eight-time winner on the WAGR rankings in the past 18 months. Camilla Kim has doubled up, also being chosen in the strong Women’s team.
“We are incredibly proud of the squads we’re sending to represent NSW this year,” said Graeme Phillipson, COO of Golf NSW.
“The depth of talent across both the junior and senior teams is a real reflection of the strength of the game in this state. From our defending senior champions to some of the most exciting young players in the country, these athletes have earned their place, and we’re confident they’ll represent the state with distinction.”
The final round of the 2026 Golf NSW Men’s and Women’s Major Pennant was held on Sunday.

In the Men’s competition, Penrith won Division 2, Section 3, despite a last round loss to Eastlake. Penrith will now move on to the first round of the playoffs, where a win would guarantee promotion to Division One in 2027 and also put them through to the Division Two Final.
Leonay lost their final match to Bardwell Valley in Division 5, Section 1 but have won promotion to Division 4 for 2027 and will play Bardwell Valley again in the Division 5 Final.
Unfortunately, there was more bad news than good from the round, with Lynwood, Twin Creeks, Dunheved and Wallacia all finishing last in their respective Divisions / Sections and the first three of those clubs now needing to survive Relegation playoff games to hold their current rankings for 2027.
Full Results (home teams listed first) – Lynwood down 6-1 to Concord, Stonecutters Ridge 4-3 over Moore Park, Richmond down 4.5-2.5 to Muirfield, Fox Hills 6-1 over Bankstown, Eastlake 6-1 over Penrith, Twin Creeks down 4-3 to Glenmore Heritage Valley, Camden 6-1 over Springwood, Dunheved 3.5-3.5 with Bayview, Wallacia down 4.5-2.5 to Bexley, Bardwell Valley 6-1 over Leonay.
Western Sydney will be represented in the Division 1, Section 2 playoffs, with three local residents members of the Concord team which won Division 1, Section 2. Coby Carruthers (Jordan Springs), Ti Fox (Richmond) and Chayse Thorpe (Richmond) are all key members of the Concord team.
In the Women’s division, Stonecutters Ridge lost their final game to St Michael’s by 3-2 in Division 1, Section 1 and finished the season in fourth place.
