WELCOME to the world baby Jasper, Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District’s first baby of 2026, born at Nepean Hospital in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Proud parents Madeline and Seungjae welcomed their baby boy to mark a memorable and meaningful start to the year. As their very first baby, Jasper’s arrival made the occasion even more special.

Reflecting on her experience in the Nepean Birth Unit, Madeline shared her gratitude for the care and support provided by the team, with a special thank you to midwives Laura, Claire and Jacqui.
