PENRITH CBD Corporation is proud to relaunch Project Warmth – Penrith Winter Appeal 2026, a community-driven initiative supporting those experiencing homelessness and hardship during the colder months.
Delivered in partnership with Penrith Community Kitchen, Karen McKeown MP, Penrith City Council, Melissa McIntosh MP, Penrith RSL, White Lady Funerals and The Creative Fringe TOTS challenge, this year’s appeal once again calls on the Penrith community to come together and provide warmth, dignity and practical support to those doing it tough this winter.
As temperatures fall, the need for essential items and meals continues to grow. Project Warmth is a simple but powerful way for local businesses, residents and community groups to make a meaningful difference.
Penrith Mayor Todd Carney acknowledged the importance of the initiative and encouraged community involvement.
“The Winter Appeal is a chance to come together and help those in our community who are doing it really tough,” Cr Carney said.
“Council is proud to support this valuable initiative and I encourage anyone who can to contribute, to help provide support to those in need this winter.”
