The Wizard of Oz comes to life on stage

ADAPTED by Jessica Hanlon, “The Wizard of Oz” is set to enchant audiences at The Ruby Theatre in Penrith. Directed by Hanlon alongside Louise Gal, this beloved tale brings the magical journey of Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, to life. Swept away by a tornado to the enchanting land of Oz, Dorothy embarks on an unforgettable adventure as she travels the yellow brick road with her newfound friends: the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion.

The production will showcase various performances on the following dates:

– January 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th at 7 PM

– January 17th and 24th at 2 PM

– January 18th and 25th at 3 PM

Throughout her journey, Dorothy and her companions will encounter both magical wonders and dangerous foes, including the Wicked Witch of the West. The story beautifully conveys the message that “There’s no place like home,” making it a must-see for families and theater enthusiasts alike.
