Ti Fox Junior Male Player of the Year

RICHMOND’S Ti Fox (Concord GC) has taken out two prestigious awards at the 2025 Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) Sponsors Day and Presentation Night, winning the Junior Vardon Trophy and the Junior Boy of the Year awards, after posting a season average of 70.00 in his outstanding year at the top level of junior competition.

The Most Improved Junior Girl award went to Savannah Webb (Stonecutters Ridge GC), whose development over the past 12 months has been outstanding. Her commitment to refining her game and performing under pressure saw her take significant steps forward throughout the season.

The Junior Jean Derrin Trophy for the best scoring average in the girls’ division went to former Schofields resident Camilla Kim (The Australian GC), who posted a season average of 71.44.

The 2025 Jack Newton Junior Golf Awards once again highlighted the depth of talent within the junior ranks, whilst also recognising the dedication, sportsmanship, and community spirit that continue to define Jack Newton Junior Golf. With another exciting year completed, the future of junior golf remains incredibly bright.

Ti played in a total of 27 events over the year, both senior and junior, resulting in eight wins and finishing under par in the following eight events.

ACT Junior Week of Golf (-6), Dunheved Cup (-2), Pymble Cup (-5) Course Record; Lakeside Cup (-2); Strathfield Cup (-4); Richmond Cup (-4); NSW Junior Championship (-14); Fore Golf Junior Match Play.

Personal achievements: Selected for NSW Junior Interstate Series (Captain); selected for Golf Australia team for USA trip; started in NSW Open (First professional event); Junior Vardon Trophy winner; Junior Boy of the Year winner; scoring average of 69.88; Pennant record of 7 wins, 1 loss; undefeated in Division One Major Pennant (Concord GC); World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) lowest rank 513th; 2 x 11-under-par rounds; 18-hole score of 60 at Concord GC; 18-hole score of 61 at Castle Hill CC; -7 overall for tournaments throughout the year; semi finalist NSW Amateur; semi finalist VIC Amateur; Richmond Men’s Foursomes Champion with Reggie Papps; Richmond GC Mixed Foursomes Champion with Tanya Kennedy; 171 rounds completed.
