BRELL HOUSE is celebrating its first anniversary, marking 12 months of good food, great company and a welcoming space for the St Marys community.
Located with direct access to St Marys Diggers & Band Club, Brell House has quickly established itself as a popular destination for people looking to enjoy a meal, catch up with friends and family, network or simply relax.
Executive Chef Mitch Davis said he was ecstatic with the venue’s success and believed its focus on quality, consistency and value had been key.
“We pride ourselves on always providing fresh food. We don’t cut corners,” Mitch said.
“It’s about consistency and speed of delivery. I think there’s a return to the club atmosphere where people can go and find good food that is reasonably priced.”
Members can also take advantage of discounts, adding further value to the dining experience.
Brell House has catered for a range of major functions over the past year, including Melbourne Cup events and Christmas functions.

“We have a great team,” Mitch said.
Mitch said the venue was designed to be enjoyed in all weather, with a cosy indoor atmosphere as well as a spacious outdoor area featuring a playground, making it a comfortable option for families with children.
Weddings, parties, wakes and other functions can also be catered for, with customer feedback highlighting the generous portions and range of menu choices.
One dish has proved particularly popular, with Mitch revealing the lamb shoulder has become a firm favourite.
“I don’t think I could ever contemplate removing that from the menu,” he said.
St Marys Diggers & Band Club CEO Marlene Shipley said there were substantial benefits for members across both the St Marys Band Club and Diggers.
The venue caters for children’s parties, adult birthday celebrations, team building events and barefoot bowls, offering plenty of reasons for locals to make Brell House part of their next gathering.
Recent additions have also made visiting even easier, with QR code booking allowing patrons to book without having to leave their table.

Parties and events can be completely hassle-free with sectioned off areas available. Private functions can accommodate up to 110 people, complete with its own menu and bar facilities.
Marlene said the venue’s soft and inviting atmosphere was an important part of its appeal and that Brell House was performing extremely well.
“The strategy was to give our local community somewhere to visit with the whole family in an inviting environment,” she said.
“We are proud to have achieved the strategy, which was to attract local families to a safe, vibrant environment with fabulous food.”
To celebrate its first anniversary, Brell House will be offering a range of meal specials and member promotions throughout October.

The celebrations will kick off with Country on the Green on Sunday, October 18, a free family event featuring line dancing, live entertainment, face painting and a mechanical bull.
With good food, family-friendly facilities and a growing range of events and functions, Brell House is celebrating its first year by continuing to provide a place where the local community can come together.
