IT is with great sadness that Council has announced that former Mayor and Councillor Jim Aitken has passed away. Jim, a local businessman, was a Councillor for 28 years giving incredible service to the local community. He served as Mayor of the city and was a well-known successful businessman providing lots of local jobs.
